Co-operation Profile

Black Country Housing Group is a successful pioneer of reduced environmental impact housing. We demonstrate super-insulation techniques, fuel efficient systems and alternative energy systems, including fuel cells and hydrogen technologies to specifiers and in partneship with manufacturing suppliers. We undertake in-house and collaborative R&D to reduce the environmental impact of house-building and homes in use. We are looking for new technologies to test and demonstrate.

We are looking for lower cost per kW of heat and power, hydrogen and fuel cell technology advances and much better thermal insulation. Most of our applications are in dwellings but we deal with outher buildings as well. We work at the laboratory-to-field trials interface. We would like to identify manufacturers and research and development organisations that need to demonstrate new technologies in the field and develop markets.
