Flexiva provides products and services for plant automation, including integration of robotic systems. Another business field is the development, production and distribution of components for alternative energy systems, among which the adaptation of control systems for fuel cells, power electronics as central component of distributed power generation systems up to 10kW, independent power supplies for outdoor application with fuel-cell charging device, and the cost optimisation of hybrid systems for power generation far from power lines (isolated applications). The Outdoor Fuel Cell Power Supply generates power in the range of 12V/24V 20W/40W (qualified for Pb-accumulator charging) out of a PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) fuel cell with pure hydrogen. The system works automatically, maintenance-free and is portable. It is suitable for operation with metal hydride hydrogen storage. Further characteristics are PC-interface (USB) for parameter settings and visualisation, optional GSM-based remote control, and remote-inquiry adjustable output voltage and current, control functions for autarchic operation, readably history memory. It is a ready-to-market product, already in batch production.
